REL-NEI researchers Judith Zorfass and Carole Urbano present the findings from a project on foundation skills interventions for struggling readers in the middle grades. The audience for this recording includes state and district leaders in adolescent literacy development; key administrators/coordinators from English language arts, special education, Title I, and bilingual education; and district superintendents and assistant superintendents. The webinar has three purposes: (1) to set the context regarding key issues in adolescent literacy; (2) to share findings from the REL-NEI project; and (3) to discuss ways to use this information.
